Description: The Truss Us With Your Kids Legacy Grant equips FHS' Theatre program with a professional-grade truss system, giving students hands-on experience with the same lighting, rigging, and structural equipment used in the live entertainment industry. Through this grant, students gain career-ready skills in technical theatre while collaborating on real productions in a safe, authentic learning environment. The truss system also enhances performances across Fine Arts programs, benefiting hundreds of students through improved staging and lighting for campus and community events. Description: The Driving Innovation: VEX V5 Robotics Expansion Legacy Grant strengthens FHS' Engineering program by expanding access to VEX V5 Robotics kits, allowing students to design, build, program, and compete with industry-standard robotics technology. Through hands-on, project-based learning, students develop critical skills in engineering, programming, collaboration, and problem-solving while preparing for local, regional, and national robotics competitions. This grant ensures equitable access to high-quality STEM experiences and supports long-term workforce readiness in engineering and technology fields.
