Friendswood Frame and Gallery hosted its 50th Anniversary giveback event on Apr. 29 which raised $1,050 to support the Friendswood ISD Education Foundation (FEF) and its mission.
The event was a heartwarming reunion, uniting past and present owners, dedicated employees, and loyal customers who have been part of the store’s journey over the past five decades.
In addition to commemorating this remarkable milestone, Friendswood Frame and Gallery Owner, Luis Briones, wanted to reciprocate the community’s unwavering support by donating 20% of the day’s proceeds to FEF.
“This was a great way for us to give back to the community that has supported us over the last fifty years,” Briones said.
Amidst the celebrations, the Friendswood Chamber of Commerce presented the shop with the prestigious Pioneer Award for 50 years of service, and City of Friendswood Mayor Mike Foreman proclaimed April 29th as “Friendswood Frame and Gallery Day.”
“We are truly grateful for the many ways Friendswood Frame and Gallery support FISD, FEF, and our community,” FEF Executive Director Ashley Adair said. “We want to congratulate them on fifty incredible years and wish them continued success in fifty more!”
